Margaret Anne Dulin's Obituary
Margaret Anne Pettus Dulin, age 85, died on Friday, October 25, 2019. She was the daughter of the late, Banks Wilson Pettus and Lila Dickson Pettus. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Larry Lucian Dulin, Sr. who passed away in 2012 and her youngest son, John Banks Dulin who passed away in 2007.
A loving mother and homemaker, Anne had a passion for planting beautiful flowers and plants. For many years, she collected a variety of seashells from her endless hours spent on the beach. And many have benefited from her love of sewing anything from clothes to crafts.
Anne is survived by her son; Larry Dulin, Jr. and his wife, Laura, her three daughters, Cheryl Smith, Cynthia Dulin, all of Charlotte, Susan York and her husband, Kevin, of Southport; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and her sister, Betty Pettus Pierce.
The family will receive friends at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 6440 Old Statesville Road, Charlotte, NC 28269. Anne’s funeral will immediately follow at 12:00 pm, in the sanctuary of the church. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Community Cemetery, Cornelius, NC.
