Margaret Franklin's Obituary
Margaret Elizabeth Greulich Franklin, age 80, passed away quietly on Friday, September 13, 2019. She was a daughter of the late Reinol Greulich and Margaret Millard Greulich in Passaic, New Jersey. She was the widow of the late Anthony Franklin.
Margaret was very active in the Zion Church and delivered for Meals on Wheels. She volunteered at the Washington Center for The Blind and every Christmas she knitted hats and scarves for The Seaman’s Church Institute. Peg loved her plants and gardening and was an accomplished Master Gardener.
Margaret is survived by her two sons, Christopher Franklin and his wife, Cathy Schindler of Cornelius, NC and Andrew Franklin and his wife, Vauntina of Ashland, MA; two grandchildren, Margaret and Matthew Franklin of Ashland, MA. In addition to her parents, and husband, she is predeceased by her sister, Lois Jackson.
Peg will be sincerely missed by her community and her family.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 6th at the Zion Episcopal Church in Washington, NC at 4 p.m. with a reception immediately following at the adjoining Fellowship Hall.
