Suzanne was a God-send of a friend to me during Desert Storm in 1991. She was wild and zany and made me laugh every day I was in Saudi Arabia. One day I laughed so hard at something she said that I spewed Coca Cola out of nose. She was that kind of girl. People like Suzanne are a treasure and I will miss her so much. We kept in touch some after the war. She was a compassionate person and a talented musician. I will miss her. Condolences to Phillip and her family. You folks had a great lady.
Going to miss you cuz!! 😞
Suzanne was my best friend as I was hers. We would talk and talk about things that were coming. Suzanne would tell me she knew she was dying and I would tell her to Shut Up, and we would burst out laughing. It was just our way. I would just listen when she needed a friend someone to be there and care what she had to say. I am going to miss my friend so much. I called her one Sunday and asked if she wanted some mac and cheese, fried chicken, Turkey and dressing, she said I would love that. I took her a plate. When I walked in her feet and legs were so swollen. I said, " Suzanne, I want you to quit self diagnosing yourself and go to a doctor." She said okay. I was shocked, she hated going to the doctor. But she called Ms. Perry, her neighbor. They together called an ambulance and she did take my advice and go. The following Saturday she wanted some boiled peanuts and plums, so I closed up my shop and took her some. She thanked me over and over. She told me that day that she loved me so much, as did I. 5 days later I lost my best friend in the whole world. I will surely miss sitting side by side swinging in our swings and that beautiful smile and laugh she had. I miss you already. My heart hurts but I know you are playing a guitar and singing for our Lord. RIP my best friend.
Suzanne and her Husband Phillip would ride over to our house on the buggie buggy as Suzanne would call it and sit and talk for awhile, enjoyed Her and her Husband Phillips company. I will miss her.
