Margaret Russell's Obituary
Margaret Gordon Russell, 95, of Huntersville died July 25, 2013 at the Huntersville Oaks. She was born on August 12, 1917 to the late David and Jewell Gordon. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Charlotte.
Survivors include her sons David Russell and wife Glynnis of Taylor, SC and Thomas Russell and wife Diana of Cornelius; daughter Betty Fuller and husband Samuel of Huntersville; brother, Thomas Gordon of Louisiana; son-in-law Ken Green; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest, daughters, Joanne Green and Gloria Ann Russell.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 28 at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville from 6:30-8:00 PM.
The funeral service will be in the chapel of James Funeral Home at 2 PM Monday with Rev. Bill Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
