I've had the pleasure of knowing this delightful soul for many years. I spent a lot of time at the Copeland household growing up. And when I first met Mrs. Copeland she seemed exotic to me. It was the first time I met someone from a different country who spoke a language other than English. I thought she was so beautiful and kind. And even though I struggled to understand the broken English, I listened and laughed when she laughed and always looked forward to seeing her again whenever I visited my friend Maria. I cannot begin to imagine the strength, courage, determination it took to adjust to a 50's, 60's America. May she rest in peace.
I am so blessed to have met her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all..

We will always remember the part you played in bringing our parents together in the place that you found love with Charlie.
I am so pleased to have spent time with you both.
Felisa no longer has to send letters to her big sister as along with their brother Juan José they will be together in heaven.
Our condolences go to all the family.

Mrs C, Always treated me like a daughter. I was always Valadi to her and not Valerie from a young age to and adult and I love it. She loved to crochet and make scarves and covering for the couch. When she taught me and Sara how to crochet and we mastered it , she was proud. When you were in her home you were at home. I have never felt nothing but love from her as the early age of 4 to now. I will truly miss her beautiful smile. My condolences to the family….. Valerie Hood Fletcher
