Marianne Sweitzer's Obituary
Marianne Morris Sweitzer, 46, of Huntersville went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2021. She was born in Dallas, TX on July 12, 1975 to Robert Lee Morris, Jr. and the late Beverly Bush Morris.
Raised in Dallas, Marianne was an avid junior golfer leading her to attend Ole Miss on a golf scholarship. She graduated from Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas and earned a BS and MS from the University of Mississippi where she was active in Pi Beta Phi and Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). Known for her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit, Marianne was a natural caretaker and excelled in her profession as a trauma nurse. Her greatest honor was marrying Scott, the love of her life, and devoting her life to raising her three children. She loved her children deeply and supported each of them in their sports and activities. Marianne had a deep and unwavering faith in God and she cherished her church family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
In addition to her father, survivors include her husband Scott; daughters, Sarah Grace and Caroline; son, Garrison; sister Carolyn Smith(Bobby); and a multitude of loving family members.
The family wishes to thank the talented nurses and medical professionals at Atrium Health who were not only her cherished colleagues, but provided exceptional care in her final days.
