This is Hazel, I am Marion's cousin in Mass. I have been trying to get in touch with her for some time now and just found out that she passed. I am very sad to hear of her passing. We had kept in touch by way of pen, paper and the mail until about a year ago. She was the last of that side of my family. She will be missed. If the family wanted to be in touch with me at all I am still in Middleboro.
I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4…states “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death.

So very sorry to read of your Mother's passing. She was a very sweet lady. She talked to me often about moving to the Churchill and I did visit with her there. My Mother, Beulah Mason, was a neighbor at Twin Oaks and the Churchill. On her 100th birthday, Marion, gave me a couple of handkerchiefs for her. We had looked everywhere for them and Marion was so kind to give them to her. She was truly a wonderful lady.

Today is Mother's Day so this might be hard for you.....But,
I just read in the local Herald Newspaper of your dear Mother's
passing. I want to express my condolences to your and your
family. Your Mother was a lovely, wonderful woman. We had
many good times as roommates on several travel trips. I
enjoyed her company immensely - we got along fine and
became friends.

To the family of Marion Garrity, I am TRULY sadden of the loss ofthis beautiful, amazing. Woman. She lived across the hall from my mother at Emeritus of Churchill and she played the popular card game, "Hand &Foot" She had SO much spunk for a 95 year old, I had to remind myself that she was in fact 95! She enabled the fact of the positive outlook on life and making it to be 95! To me she was more than a resident she was and is a very dear friend whom I have had great pleasure of knowning ! I will never forget her! God bless her and the Garrity family!
Marion was a kind soul. My prayers are with the family as you grieve. May Marion now rest peacefully in the fullness of God's love.

I was very saddened to see in The Charlotte Observer today, Saturday, May 4, 2013, that Marian had passed away. She was the first resident I met in Twin Oaks when my realtor brought me over to look at a townhouse, and Marian was walking up the street, and we stopped and talked to her for a moment and asked her how she liked living in Twin Oaks, etc.
Marian was a very special lady and she and I hit off, and while she was in Twin Oaks we would e-mail one another quite often.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family, because having been through the same thing, I know how much they, and her friends, will miss her.

I offer my prayers and deepest sympathy to the family. Though I have been at St Patrick's Mooresville a short time, visiting Marion was pure delight. I am in Chicago and regret that I cannot be there to personally express my condolences.
