Marlee Elizabeth Hart's Obituary
Marlee Elizabeth Hart, 24, of Fort Mill, SC, died on Sunday Feb. 5th at Carolinas Medical Center. Diagnosed with cancer after graduation from Fort Mill High School, Marlee fought thedisease while working towards her degree in Graphic Communications at Clemson University. Marlee maintained all of her natural gifts of love, humor, wit and charm. She attacked her ailment as she did life with vigor, courage and wonder. She remains an inspiration to all who met her.
The disease did not rob her of a career. Marlee enjoyed internships at Medco Health in NJ and Classic Graphics in Charlotte, NC. where she met many wonderful people and made lasting friendships. She loved football, all things Clemson, dancing the Charleston and Dunkin ‘ Donuts. Marlee’s true gift was in meeting someone once and remaining a friend for life. She had a second family in her online friends who were very important to her and a great source of comfort and support.
She is survived by her parents, Frank and Maureen Hart, of Fort Mill, SC , brothers James and Duncan, grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Philip Hart, of Florence, SC, and Mr. and Mrs. James B. Wadick, of Attleboro, MA, as well as many, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends from Maine to California.
To honor Marlee’s wishes, all are invited to celebrate her extraordinary life, on May 4, at 7PM by participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life at Pendleton High School in Pendleton, S.C.
