Ann was my friend. We didn't see each other much in these later years, but I am so grateful that I got to see her and chat before she left us. We shared a love of reading and to this day I keep a list of authors and titles she recommended. We would text each other our likes and Ann didn't hesitate to tell you of authors she did not like as well!
I was always intrigued with her many talents with her hands - sewing, lace, quilting (this is probably the tip of the iceberg). I loved listening to her share her knowledge of these things and seeing her beautiful work. Anyone in possession of any of her "art" should consider themselves lucky. What a legacy. Her bobbins!!!! What a collection.
Years ago Ann introduced me to an electronic card site that I still use, Jacquie Lawson, and we have exchanged birthday cards every year through this site. I will miss my birthday greetings, and I cherish the ones I have.
Ann was well traveled, well read, whip smart, and a lover of animals. Never heard her say an ugly word about anyone. That cute little smile and impish eyes will be my favorite memory. She will be missed.
My condolences to you all - I can't name the everyone here, but Ann loved each and every one of you and was so proud of her family.
Big hugs to you all, but especially Mac, Catherine and Susan.
