So sorry to hear that Marrha has passed away. If she was at Gordon Hospice House I know she received wonderful care. No words are adequate to ease your pain and loss. I know that in your head you can understand how very sick she was and the love and care you gave her during her illness. Your heart doesn't get it because you have lost half of yourself and the love of your life. The journey forward for you will be a difficult one, I pray that your children and grandchildren will stay close by. I Remember when Mom died your sweet and beautiful daughter Darby came to meet me because your Mom had talked about me. Take care of yourself, you will be lost for awhile, I know you are exhausted and hopefully will get some rest. Those of us who have been the primary caregiver know exactly how you feel. As Grandma Sprinkle would always say, "you shouldn't judge a man unless you have walked in their shoes. Take care of yourself. love you Bunny

Martha was a beautiful person who made us all at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse feel important, always willing to listen and offer a kind word, along with her precious smile. I had the pleasure of working with her the past 15 years and she will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences and prayers for her family.

I knew Martha when I worked at the clerk's office in Mecklenburg county year's ago. She was always so sweet to me. I remember that she would always have some sort of candy at her window. My favorite was the "smarties candies". She knew I liked them and would make sure to keep a secret stash just for me. I will miss her dearly. My thoughts go out to all the family and wish you strength through this tough time.

I worked with martha for 17 years. She was so beautiful and just loved everyone. She was always so supported for everyone, never sterotyped anyone. She will definitely be missed. We loved her but God loves her best!

I have work with Martha for 12 years, she was an amazing woman. Very smart, loving, and giving. She was like mamma to me and I will miss her. The memories with reside in my heart for her. She and I engrossed in watching the eagles grow together. Her family was and will always be our family. We love'd her and her family. Stay strong in the Lord and all his might. God bless you all.
