Your dad always made himself available to me when my dad, Howard counts, was out of town. He remodeled my house, came immediately to fix doors and locks when someone broke into it. I so enjoyed sitting and talking with him, often dropping in on him and your mom. He made me feel like family whenever around him. Rita counts taylor
Mr. Cathey was a special man. We shared many memories through the years of my college mission trip to Woodland, Texas he helped lead. Framing the community building during the day, catching catfish in the evening in the pond and sharing in fellowship. He also built houses in the neighborhood I grew up in on Wabash Ave. A kind word and encouragement I could always count on Sunday mornings at Hopewell. Prayers for the family. Jimmy Farmer
I always enjoyed my time with Marvin and Keeby be it at Hopewell , the Hopewell Joy Group or in the swing on the side porch of their home. Keeby would insist on me eating something.
