Marvin Ehrlich's Obituary
Marvin “Mark” F. Ehrlich, 80, of Huntersville, died November 29, 2012 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House. He was born on February 13, 1932 in Bronx, NY to the late Harry and Lillian Ehrlich. Mark served a career in the US Air Force and then retired from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Communications Division. He was a Shriner, member of the VFW and former member of the Huntersville Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife Dollie Wilson Ehrlich; son, Paul Ehrlich of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Debbie Lyell and husband Danny of Camden, SC; step-daughters, Patricia Combs and husband Billy of Beach City, TX and Janice Wright of Charlotte; sister, Rochelle Yockolson of Long Island; brother, Walter Ehrlich of Teaneck, NJ; and grandchildren Jessica and Lindsey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Levine and Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Dr. Huntersville, NC 28078.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Sunday, December 2, 2012 in the chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at NorthLake Memorial Gardens.
