Mary Lou Bradford's Obituary
Mary Louise Faquin Bradford, 59, of Huntersville, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2014 at home. She was born on January 27, 1955 in Salisbury, North Carolina and was the daughter of Mary Clay O’Connor Faquin and the late Louis Keith Faquin, II.
Following graduation from Myers Park High School in 1973 she received a degree as a radiological technician through Charlotte Memorial Hospital where she worked for several years.
In 1977 she married her husband of over 36 years, Ross McCoy Bradford, at Belmont Abbey Monastery in Belmont, North Carolina and later had two children.
She was a dedicated mother and wife as well as an amazing cook and baker. Her compassion and caring for others extended far and wide to family, friends, church, and many others. Thoughtful, kindhearted, and unselfish, she tirelessly sought to lend a comforting hand to those around her. During the past 6 years, she sacrificed enormous time and energy as care-giver to allow her infirm 90 year old mother the comfort of remaining in her own home.
She is survived by her husband, son Ross McCoy Bradford II, daughter Mary Chastain Bradford, and her mother and brothers, Dr. William C. Faquin and Louis Keith Faquin, III.
On Monday, August 18 from 6:00-8:00 PM the family will receive friends at James Funeral Home in Huntersville.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19 at Ramah Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Ramah Presbyterian Church General Fund.
