Mary Player's Obituary
Mary Hudson Player, 84, of Cornelius died September 29 at the Huntersville Oaks. She was born on October 6 in Richmond County to the late William and Myrtle Hudson. She worked for 35 years at Belk’s Department Store in downtown Charlotte. Mary was a member of Grace Covenant Church.
Survivors include her daughter Karen Futrell of Charlotte; siblings, Jack Hudson, Fred Hudson, Jewell Evans and Violet Jones; grandchildren, Christy and David and great-grandchildren Carter and Hazel.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 Wednesday, October 1 at Richmond Memorial Park in Rockingham with Rev. Paul Turbedsky officiating.
Memorials may be made to Grace Covenant Church.
