Mary Sharris' Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Kelly Sharris, 77, of Cornelius, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on November 5, 2025. Born on July 23, 1948, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eileen Kelly of West Springfield.
Mary spent much of her life working as a dental assistant, and later channeled her entrepreneurial spirit into running a housecleaning and catering business, Maid For You. After relocating to North Carolina to be closer to family, she worked at Cashion’s Quick Stop stores in the Lake Norman area. But above all, her most cherished role was being “Nana” to her beloved grandchildren, Kevin and Carly.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristen Coupal, and son-in-law, Steven, of Cornelius; her brother, Thomas Kelly of West Springfield; and her grandchildren, Kevin and Carly of Charlotte.
A private celebration of life will be held to honor our beloved Mom and Nana.
