Mary Tedder's Obituary
Mary Evelyn Tedder, 62, of Huntersville, died April 28, 2013 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House. She was born on October 18, 1950 in Cleveland County to the late John and Sunshine Tedder.
She is predeceased by her parents and a sister, Catherine Tedder Arndt.
Survivors include her sister Amy Williams and husband Jerry of Huntersville; brother John Tedder and wife Gail of Ellenboro; nieces and nephews, Caroline Arndt Livingood, Alex Arndt, Drew Arndt, Mary Catherine Williams and Mark Williams.
Mary was a graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She was a Librarian for the Guilford County schools for 28 years, and was an asset to her profession, willingly sharing her knowledge and expertise with students, teachers and colleagues. Mary had many interests and was an avid reader, a talented basket weaver, a loyal and caring friend to many, and the keeper of the stories. It was a great privilege to have her in our lives, and she will be deeply missed by her cherished family and friends.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, May 25 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of James Funeral Home (10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville, NC) with a reception to follow in the James Funeral Home Community Room.
