Mathew Mihalovich's Obituary
Mathew Frank Mihalovich, 77 of Denver, NC died December 15, 2019. He was born on July 3, 1942 in Chicago, IL. He worked as an accountant in the telecommunications industry.
Survivors include his wife Holly; daughter, Deborah; son, Michael; sister, Carol Passarella and her husband Marty. He is preceded in death by his sons, Kevin and Baby Adam.
He loved to travel with his family. He enjoyed playing softball and coached Kevin’s youth sports teams. In his retirement, he enjoyed refereeing youth and high school baseball, football and volleyball. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers. He also volunteered with AARP income tax services. He was active in his church with Sunday School, ushering, Angel Tree and the food pantry.
Memorials may be made to University City U.M.C., 3835 W WT Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28269.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Thursday, December 19 at University City U.M.C. with burial following at Northlake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
