Max Leonard Howell's Obituary
Max Leonard Howell, 86, of Huntersville died November 17, 2019 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House. He was born on May 16, 1933 in Mitchell County, NC to the late Graham and Eula Howell. He worked as a long distance truck driver and was a member of First Baptist Church in Huntersville.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Mary Jo Howell; children, Sandra Howell Clark (Mike), Sonya Howell Gragg, Leslie Alan Howell (Cindy) and Loria Howell Manley (Randall); step-children, Patricia Marsh Light, Theresa Morrison Collins, Barbara Tyner Martin and Kelly Morrison; brother Gene Howell; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; dog, Charlie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Betty as well as 8 siblings.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church Huntersville at 2pm Saturday, November 23.
