Michael "Mike" Campellone's Obituary
Mike Ciorra Campellone aka “Bad Idea” or “Big Fat” passed away unexpectedly at home in North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Cathy Ciorra. He is survived by his wife Renee, his siblings Chelsea, Raymond (Jessi), and Kirk (Stephanie), sister in-law Beverly (Brian), and brother in-laws Richard, Donny, and Donnie. Also, his nieces and nephews, Mariah, Jaclyn, Maria, Isabella, Olivia, Noah, Cameron, Miles, Grayson, Destinee, Skylar, Danny, Dylon, and Cole. Aunts and Uncles, Joan, Amelia (Ronald) and Teresa. And many cousins.
Mike was employed at Safelite as a Parts Sourcing Specialist and worked in the auto glass industry for over 20 years and was very knowledgable about cars. He also had a passion for motorcycles and was a member of Covenant Motorcycle Ministry for over 7 years. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in business management in 2015 from the University of Phoenix. Mike was a lifetime Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.
Mike was the most supportive and loving husband, partner, and best friend to his wife Renee. Mike was a dedicated, kindhearted, generous, and unforgettable individual who always put the needs of others ahead of his own. He was known for his giving spirit and witty sense of humor. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of comfort to whomever needed it. Many considered him to be a mentor, trusted friend, and a father figure. Mike brought joy to everyone he encountered and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. Mike’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St, Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at James Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM in James Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will be held following the service in the James Funeral Home community room.
