Mike was a mentor and a colleague to me for six years. I joined the BWROG team as a young PM and Mike was the PM to look up to and learn from. His energy and positive attitude was contagious, and he was never short of telling a funny story. One of my favorite times was during a work trip when the team got together and Mike cooked up an Italian meal in one of the hotel rooms. I am very saddened by his passing and I offer my condolences to his family and friends.

I had just reconnected with Mike after his Mom passed away. We had not seen each other since his Dad passed, and it was so good to remininice about us growing up. Mike was always so funny and upbeat. And had a memory that was amazing! He talked about being at my wedding in 1977, and how he had so much fun. It was so great to have seen him again, and I am so sorry that a heart attack took him away from your family. RIP Mikey up in heaven with your Mom and Dad and Grandmother. I first met Mike as a colleague, then again later as an employee, but always as a friend. Mike was one of the funniest people I have ever met and his positive disposition would always brighten any room. Almost 14 years ago, my wife and I were both at a business dinner with Mike. My wife was 9 months pregnant and Mike kept her laughing very hard all evening…you guessed it, labor started that night and my youngest daughter was born the next day. Mike, thanks for your friendship and the many laughs, including those that induced labor.

I met Mike thru BWROG. He was a breath of fresh air in a difficult project. His efforts were integral to the successful completion of the project. His friendship was such an added bonus. We spent lots of time in meetings dealing with complicated issues, but the best of times were off the clock. Lots of great meals, ball games and Moscow Mules.
We have lost a great man way too early. My deepest sympathies all his family and friends.
