My dear brother. You left us over eight months ago and I have felt your absence every day. You were the finest man I have ever known and I will never be able to thank you enough for your love, support and guidance throughout our lives. Just received the letter from Mrs. Kim Wilson advising of Dr. Wilson's passing. Being a resident of Statesville we were unaware that this had happened! As our whole family have been patients of Doc Wilson's we are shocked and grieve along with your family. He was and always will remain highly thought of by us, he was professional at all times and loving; genuinely interested in our lives. His Christian ministry extended into every facet of his life, and we are some of the people that can call themselves blessed by it. Our prayers will be with you family as you work through this time. We just received Kim's letter to Dr. Mike's patients. We had not heard of his untimely passing and was shocked and deeply saddened. Kim and family - you have our prayers and thoughts. Mike always spoke so fondly of Kim and all his kids. He was a great man and someone many of us also called a friend. This world lost a dear man, but he is with his savior now and in a better place. We will always remember Mike as a godly man who adored his family and always had a smile and kind word for everyone. We have been blessed to have known Mike and your family in the "early days" at Mt. Dear Kim,
We were at the 25th dental school reunion in Morgantown when we heard of the sad and shocking news of our dear Mike. Please know that we had him on our mind all evening and related fond memories of him amongst ourselves.

Doc Wilson had been my dentist since I moved to the Charlotte Area in 1992, My son and husband had him as a dentist for 16 yrs. Doc always had great stories about his family and loved to engage in conversation on religion, education and such that lasted sometimes for over an hour, it was never a short visit at Dr. Wilson's office... :)

Dr. Wilson had been my dentist for over 17 years. I was shocked and deeply sadden when
I saw his obituary in the Charlotte Observer. Even though ours was strictly a professional
relationship, he always made me feel like it was a personal relationship as well. He was
a great person, a great dentist and I will dearly miss him. Please accept my sincere sympathy in your loss.

Mike was one of those parents I was always happy to see on the sidelines of a SouthLake football game or in the stands of an Eagles' baseball battle. His kind, encouraging words were such a blessing in the midst of the intense emotion that invades athletic competition. I used to think, "I bet this is how Jesus would act at a football game. . ." Thank you, Mike, for being such a good example of God's love to all of us.

May God bless and comfort you, sweet Wilson family. May He provide abundantly for all your needs until the day you see your father and your Father in heaven.
