Michelle Zbytek's Obituary
Michelle (nee Carano) Zbytek, of Cornelius, born August 3, 1960 in Cuyahoha Falls, Ohio, passed away on October 24, 2012, after a heroic battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father David Carano and mother Jan Carano.
Michelle leaves behind her beloved husband Lawrence Zbytek and her cherished daughter, Lauren Henkel. Other family members are her sister Karen (Carano) and brother-in-law Curtis Lindahl; niece Jamie Lindahl, nephew David (wife Colleen) Lindahl, and great-nephew Henry Lindahl; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Don and Judy Smith, niece Jessica Smith, nephew Jason Smith; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Alan and Wendy Zbytek, niece Kaylee Zbytek, nephew Tyler Zbytek, nephew Shad Zbytek; sister-in-law Patricia Hafner, niece Sara Hafner, nephew James Hafner; her in-laws Harry and Virginia Zbytek; and, her much loved animals, Halloween, Squirt and Miette.
Michelle was a well respected elementary and middle school teacher for many years in the Charlotte area. She was a passionate animal lover and avid gardener and reader. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
An open house will be held at her family home at 10231 Footsman Place, Cornelius, NC 28031 on Saturday, October twenty seventh, 2012 from one o’clock to four o’clock. “A Celebration of Life
