Mildred McAlpine Collins, 79, of Cornelius died June 9, 2014 at the Huntersville Oaks. She was born on July 25, 1934 to the late Cue and Alma McAlpine. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Charles Henry Collins and son, R Read Obituary
Such a gentle and kind person. These traits were honest because they were established by her long and dedicated walk with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Surely, she will be greatly missed. Rest with your Lord forever. Happy homegoing!
My condolences to Millie's family. Millie was one of the nicest people that I ever met. She was sent by God to teach the rest of us how to live life. She will be missed, but I know that she is now in heaven.
I loved Miss Millie. Hearing her in the mornings saying, "I am FANTASTIC" made my day much brighter. She was one of the most loveable, respectable and out & out caring people I have ever known. Just know that everyone at GMI loved and cared for her so very much. We were lucky to have her in our lives. My heart and prayers go to the entire family. Miss Millie wil be missed...greatly.

I am so saddened for the loss of Millie. She was a wonderful person, a great friend and she loved all of you so much. She was so proud of her kids and her grandkids. I never saw Millie that she didnt have a smile on her face and her response to How are You was always "Fantastic"!!! I will cherish my memories and know that you all will too. Praying for God to comfort each of you during the days and weeks ahead. Blessed to have known Millie and thankful to know where she is today and the promise that we will see her again!
