Millie Brown's Obituary
Mamie (Millie) Byers Brown, 76, of Huntersville devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother went to be with her Savior on October 12, 2021. She was born on November 2, 1944, the daughter of Dewey Edison Byers and Katie Irene Richards.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Dorothy Fitzgerald, and three brothers, Ralph Byers, Mitchell Byers and Steve Byers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Loyd Wayne Brown, her son, Kevin Wayne Brown (Tammy), two brothers, Dewey E. Byers and James M. Byers (Jo). She was loved by her two grandsons, Carson Alexander Brown and Connor Anthony Brown.
Born in Belmont, NC, she began her career with Southern Bell, eventually retiring from AT&T after 34 years of service. She was a devoted Christian who served in the choir at Huntersville A.R.P. Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 16 at Huntersville A.R.P. Church. Visitation will be 10-11 AM prior. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
