Nancy Lancaster's Obituary
Nancy Culbreth Lancaster, 75, of Huntersville, died February 3, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center. She was born in Spindale, NC on June 12, 1936 to the late Ben Culbreth and Ruth Jackson Gillespie. Nancy worked as a reservation agent for Eastern Airlines for 25 years. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church, as well as a member of the New Hearts Club.
Survivors include her husband Robert Roosevelt Lancaster of Huntersville; son Melvin Wayne Lancaster of Lilburn, GA; daughter, Rhyta Lancaster of Kannapolis, NC ; and Kelly Lancaster Hall of Cleveland, NC; and 6 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery at 3:00 Tuesday. The family will receive friends at Union Grove Baptist Church from 7-8:30 Monday night.
