Nancy Little's Obituary
Nancy Carole Little, 93, of Cornelius died December 19, 2025 at Autumn Care Nursing Facility in Cornelius. She was born on September 7, 1932 in Mecklenburg County to the late James Claude Little and Blanche Morgan Little.
Survivors include brothers Richard Little of Cornelius and William Edward Little of Spartanburg, SC and many nieces and nephews.
Carole retired from Clariant Corp (formerly Sandoz Chemicals) after 40 years of service. She began her career in Atlanta before moving back to Charlotte when the corporate headquarters were established in 1982. Carole worked in several of the business units including Textiles and Paper in an Administrative capacity. She is remembered by former colleagues as kind and dedicated to her work. After her official retirement, she continued to work as a contractor for many years. Carole was really the Loving Sister you would always want to have. She dearly loved her Family and was constantly doing things for her Brothers and Sister. She loved to cook and was always cooking up a batch of Chilli,Soup, or something to share with her family. Family gatherings were always held at the tiny Family home where she lived with as many as 30 or 35 people in attendance!
Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion U.M.C.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 30 at Mt. Zion U.M.C. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior in the sanctuary. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte.
