Nancy Shelar's Obituary
Nancy Louise Shelar passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 with her children at her side.
She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on February 24, 1938 to Thomas Dale Mascher and Mary Louise Mascher. She was preceded in death by her parents and eldest son, Stephen (Ellen) Doran.
Nancy is survived by her daughters Karen Loy, Tamara (Jeff) Dunn, Kelly Kester and son, Patrick Doran; sister, Rosemary (Jeff) Drake and brother, Noel (Sharon) Mascher. She was blessed to be “Mimi” to 14 grandchildren, James Loy, Jr., Jessica Moore, Matthew Dunn, Andrew (Abbey) Dunn, Sarah (Erik) Jacobson, Alessamdra Kester, Olivia (Jake) Sinopoli, Connor Doran, Charlotte Doran, Jack Doran, Jennifer Haire, Matthew (Jen) Wallace, Jennifer Shields, Edward (Erin) Doran and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services and internment will be held privately for the family.
The family would like to thank the loving staff at Levine & Dickson Hospice House for the wonderful care received by Nancy and family. Donations may be made in Nancy’s memory to the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, North Carolina.
