Nealie Mullins' Obituary
Nealie Dotson Mullins, 98 of Huntersville entered into eternal peace February 4 at Olde Knox Commons. She was born on April 6, 1918 in Murphy, NC to Dellah and Johnny Dotson. Nealie was married to Charlie Alec Mullins of Union County for 66 years until he passed in 1999. Nealie retired from CMS where she worked in the cafeteria as a pastry and bread baker. She was a faithful member of Huntersville First Baptist Church for over 60 years where she ministered to the homebound and taught Sunday School and Bible Study. She was known and admired by many as a seamstress and southern cook. Her life’s joy was serving the Lord and enjoying time with her family.
Survivors include son Charles Mullins and wife, Regina; Lynne Mullins, Joyce Bryant, Irma Whitaker and Fay Barnette and husband, Bob; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 Tuesday, February 7 at First Baptist Church Huntersville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lake Norman.
