Neana Phillips' Obituary
Neana Elaine Smith Phillips, age 56, of Huntersville (Long Creek) danced her way into heaven on December 6, 2018.
Neana was born in Charlotte on December 21, 1961, to Harry and Linda Smith. She married her high school sweetheart, David Glenn Phillips, Jr., on July 12, 1981. They had 37 wonderful years together.
In addition to her loving husband, David, and her parents, Neana is survived by: her devoted children, David Glenn Phillips, III (Rebekah); Brandy Leigh Phillips Williams (Justin); and Harry Smith Phillips (Ashleigh). Grandchildren, Collier Monroe Norris; Summer Leigh Williams; Chase Russell Williams; and Noah William Phillips. Sister, Joyce Untz (Nancy); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Davie and Neana enjoyed many wonderful vacation trips with their family at Myrtle Beach, making memories that will forever be cherished. She was the most loving mother, grandmother, and best friend. Not a day was spent that she didn’t witness to all her love for her Savior and Lord.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM, Wednesday, December 12, at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 10500 Beatties Ford Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078. The service will be officiated by Dr. Allan Purtill. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Family Life Center.
Memorials may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation, Duke Adult Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinic, or Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
