Norbert "Schully" Schulenburg's Obituary
SCHULENBERG, Norbert L. “Schully”, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.
Born in Williamsville, NY, he graduated from Clarkson University (a student athlete, Schully played baseball, basketball, football for the Golden Knights while earning a degree in Civil Engineering) – after which he severed as a US Army Lieutenant; married his wife of 53 years – Theresa (Amarosa) from Utica, NY; held successful commercial construction senior leadership positions; and became a 48-years long resident of Florida. He was a faithful member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Tarpon Springs as well. An avid and very accomplished golfer, Schully likewise enjoyed spending time with family, socializing, fishing, traveling, and had many close friends.
Upon entering eternal life, he looked forward to firstly reuniting in forever togetherness with his beloved Theresa, and then others. He is survived by sons – James of Richmond, VA and David (Joy) of Davidson, NC; grandchildren – James and Kelsea, Serena, Morgan.
Family preceded in death: Theresa – wife; Gene – brother; Eugene (Rose) – father and mother; David – grandson; Carmine (Regina) Amarosa – immediate in-laws.

A funeral mass is set for 11:00 am, December 7th at St. Igantious Catholic Church where Norbert was a faithful member. Family and friends invited. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery will be set for thereafter.
