Oliver Bailey's Obituary
Oliver Andrew Bailey, 83, of Cornelius, died April 20, 2011 at Olde Knox Commons. He was born on October 7, 1927 in Cornelius to the late William Hampton and Gotfrey Barnette Bailey. He retired as assistant manager at Cashions Grocery Store. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by nieces Brenda Helms, Ann Osborne, Mary Gibson and Carol Ford; as well as close extended family, Joe Bailey, Ken and Mary Bailey and Kaila Gibson. He is preceded in death by his brother Carl Bailey.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Friday, April 22, 2011 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Jill Smith officiating. The family will receive friends 1-2 PM prior in the church sanctuary. Interment will follow at Huntersville ARP Church.
