Opal York Harrill's Obituary
Opal York Harrill, 91, of Mooresville died October 17, 2023. She was born on September 16, 1932 in Forest City to the late W.J. and Ethel York.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Harrill.
She is survived by her sister, Sybil Billingsley; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family; and special friends, Susan Abernathy, Perry, and Jeannie.
She was preceded in death by Paul W. Harrill, and 4 sisters; Sue Prescott, Virl Hardin, Eunice McDaniel and an infant sister 3 brothers: Russell York, Carvis York and Bonner York Retired from Fiber Industries and of the Baptist faith. The family would like to say a Special Thank You to Susan and Perry Abernathy for taking good care of our Aunt Opal.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Via Hospice, 705 Griffith St. Suite 203 Davidson, NC 28036.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Friday, October 20 at Glenwood Cemetery. Rev. Rick Felts will officiate.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Hospice Via Health Partners, especially Yvonne, Ashley and Anna.
