Frances was a dear, longtime friend to my parents, Harvey & Louise Akins AND very special to me from the time I moved in to care for then over 8 years ago. Every time I'd see Frances at church, she would insist on giving me (and everyone else!) some candy! She always talked about how she couldn't keep up with my Mama when they were walking... now they're doing laps on those streets of gold!!!
The sweetest friend I had! Almost every week I would visit her. We could always solve the world’s problems with one word - Jesus! We always had a time of prayer before I left and she would say, “Come anytime, even tomorrow! She always had a hug for me and I love you. I will miss her, but I know she is happy to be with Jesus whom she loved so much! Meet me at the gate Frances!
Frances was a light in what can be a dark world. She loved her Lord, her family, friends and people. Her smile was infectious and you received a blessing by just spending time with her. Frances shared her faith openly and let her light shine. ( Mattew 5:16 ), I pray that God gives comfort and peace to her family and friends at this time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of this wonderful Godly lady. I was blessed to have known and loved her while attending Northside Baptist. Loved sitting with her during church, and will always remember our talks.
My beautiful sweet sister, I could write a book about her and never tell a small fraction of her good works! She was a special sister, I will miss her as long has I live. Her greatest legacy is the two wonderful, loving, caring sons she leaves behind, Her love for them ,her grandchildren, her many friends had no bounds! She loved unconditionally.I know our one and only living God opened his arms to her and said” Welcome home, well done my good and faithful servant,”
