Pamela McMillan Huntley's Obituary
Pamela “Pam” McMillan Huntley, 75, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Pam, a native of Charlotte, NC, moved to Conway, SC after retirement to be close to the beach. She adored her family and friends with all her heart and everyone around her felt it. She especially loved spending time with her three grandchildren and beamed with pride whenever she shared stories about them with friends and coworkers. Pam was one of the most giving people you could ever meet, always doing so much for so many. She was extremely thoughtful and never missed sending a personalized birthday card to everyone she loved.
Pam enjoyed beach music and was an exceptional Shag dancer. While living in Charlotte, Pam was a member of A Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church and also attended Calvary Baptist Church with her daughter, Brandy, and family. Pam also was a dedicated blood donor with the American Red Cross, just one more example of how she continually strove to help others. She retired from Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company after 35 years of service.
Pam is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Fred Huntley; two brothers, Robert McMillan and Billy Stone.
She is survived by her son, Chip Huntley (Jill) and daughter, Brandy Zimmerman (John); her three grandchildren, Ty Huntley, Nate Huntley, and Mallory Zimmerman. She also leaves behind her loving companion, Phillip Robinson; as well as sisters, June Strother, Vickie Stone, and Jean Nadolny.
