Pamela Judith Koch Solomon's Obituary
Pamela Judith Koch Solomon, age 72, of Huntersville, died on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Huntersville Oaks, with her daughter, Marlene White at her side. Pam was born on August 8, 1946, in Norwich, CT and was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen Koch. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Jerry Michael Solomon who died in 1995.
As an avid and devoted follower of Number 24, Jeff Gordon, Pam loved NASCAR! Pam attended Bacon Academy and New London School of Business and went on to be employed as a bookkeeper in the automotive industry for many years. She loved children, elephants, The Cayman Islands, the beach, going on cruises, collecting shells and cooking.
In addition to her daughter, Marlene, Pam is survived by her son-in-law, Chris, both from Huntersville; her brother, Dennis Koch of CT, and a step-grandson, Nicholas White of TN, a niece Deborah and nephews, Ronnie and Guy and many special friends and neighbors and the NASCAR family that she loved dearly. She had a special bond with Jessica, Tommy, Kimberly and Sarah Tharp and they will cherish her memory.
Pam’s Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 4, 2019, in the chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
