Pat Wilson's Obituary
William Patton “Pat” Wilson, 76, of Cornelius, died July 16, 2011 at his home. He was born on May 3, 1935 in Mecklenburg County to the late Adrian Hugh Wilson and Vennie Brown Wilson. He worked as a warehouse manager for DuPont and served in the US Army.
He is survived by his sons, Pat Wilson and wife Patty of Mooresville; Samuel Boyce Wilson of Steam Boat Springs, CO, Perry Wilson and wife Patti of Cornelius, Kim Wilson and wife Susan of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters, Polly Henderson and husband Robert of Charlotte and Martha Jane Minday of Charlotte; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and his dog, Duke. He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Brandon Wilson.
Memorials may be made to Hopewell Presbyterian Church Elevator Fund, 10500 Beatties Ford Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Hopewell Presbyterian Church with Rev. Allan Purtill and Rev. J.E. Wayland, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 prior in the family life center.
