Patricia Maynor Huskins' Obituary
Patricia Ann Maynor Huskins, 77, of Newton, NC, formally of Huntersville, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on July 12, 1940 in Robeson, NC and was the daughter of the late Willie and Georgianna Smith Maynor, and wife of the late Ralph Donald Huskins. Her early career was a surgical technician for Carolinas Medical Center and then a bank teller in Huntersville. She loved gardening, sewing, shopping and spending time with her family.
Surviving family members include five children, Crystal Herring of Monroe, NC, Charles Butler and wife Wendy of Pageland, SC, Cassandra Butler Clark of Lancaster, SC, Vance Huskins and wife Nadia of France, and Connie Colvard of Newton, NC; sister, Rockie Lee Bullard of Maxton, NC; sister, Mary Smith of Rowland, NC; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; two step children, Patrick Huskins and wife Lucy of Black Mountain, NC, and Dana Huskins of Asheville, NC. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Edwin, Sanford, Doug and Joe Maynor; a sister, Carrie Lee Maynor.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 2:00 PM, in James Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at funeral home.
A private burial will held at the Huskins Family Cemetery in Vilas, NC.
