Patricia "Patti" Kussmaul Elliott's Obituary
Patricia "Patti" Kussmaul Elliott, 71, of Charlotte, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026. She was born in Ohio on December 1, 1954, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Kussmaul. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Kussmaul.
Patti is survived by her son, Jarred Elliott; and canine companions, Molly and Buster.
Patti was truly one of a kind, with a vibrant personality that could light up any room. She was known for always lovingly saying exactly what she thought, a quality that endeared her to so many who knew and loved her. Patti had a kind heart and genuinely loved people, never meeting a stranger and always making others feel welcome.
Her dogs were the center of her world, and she cherished them deeply, showering them with endless love and devotion. Patti worked for many years as a credit manager with Queen City Appliance, where she was respected for her dedication and strong work ethic.
In her free time, Patti enjoyed traveling with her best friends and making lasting memories along the way. She was also an avid gardener who found great joy in tending to her flowers and spending time outdoors. Whether working in her garden or sharing time with friends and loved ones, Patti embraced life fully and brought warmth and laughter wherever she went.
She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her honesty, her compassion for others, and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, 3:00 - 4:00 PM, at James Funeral Home of Huntersville.
