Patricia Lynn Garrett Finnell, 68 of Huntersville died at her home on October 5, 2014. She was born in Albemarle, NC on July 23, 1946. Survivors include her husband Wayne Douglas Finnell and sister Peggy Garrett of Sunset Beach. Read Obituary
What a shock! So glad for the Class Reunion when I had the opportunity to HUG Trish and talk about so many things. My Heart goes out to all her family and friends. She was so very special!!! Pat was one of my classmates from the Class of 64 Albemarle Senior High. I am so sorry to hear of her death. She always had a smile that nobody that ever knew her will not forget. It hasn't been but a few weeks since our 50th class reunion, I think that is why this is so unexpected. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with both of you. I will always remember Pat as a happy sweet girl and a dear friend.

Patricia was my best friend for many years. Somehow we lost contact and I've been searching for her ever since. My heart is broken at this news. To Doug and Peggy, I share your loss and your grief. I will always remember Trish and our times together, her wonderful laugh and amazing outlook on life. She is forever in my heart.
