Patrick James Parisi's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick J. Parisi, 77, who left this world on April 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving family in Cornelius, North Carolina.
Patrick was born on October 29, 1946 in Auburn, NY to Rose (DiFabio) and Vincent Parisi. He married the love of his life, Katherine (Gard) “Kitty” Parisi in 1968 and together they had three children. A resident of Auburn for most of his life, he and his wife Kitty relocated to North Carolina in 2014. There he enjoyed babysitting his three youngest grandchildren, spending time in the sun and warmer climate and mild evenings at the baseball fields cheering on his two grandsons. Prior to moving to North Carolina, Patrick worked as a Correctional Officer, owned Parisi’s Westwood Lounge and later was employed by Fox Honda where he became a successful car salesman and enjoyed the connections he had with the Auburn community. He also spent his time babysitting his first two grandsons when they were born. Patrick was a dedicated husband, a wonderful father, an involved and ever-present grandfather, as well as a great friend to many.
Patrick was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Rose Parisi, and brother-in-law Robert Gaylo.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-six years, Kitty, son, Christopher, daughter-in-law Kelly of Camillus, son Scott, daughter-in-law Dawn of Tennessee, son, Todd, daughter-in-law Jodi of North Carolina and his five grandchildren, Joseph, Thomas, Lucas, Giuliana, and Nicholas. Pat is also survived by his brother Robert, sister-in-law Laura of Connecticut, his sister, Carmelann Gaylo of Auburn, along with several nieces and nephews. He was especially close to his nieces Nicola Parisi and Alanna Schoonmaker.
Patrick will be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethic, and his kind heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
