Paul Ritchie Crawford's Obituary
Paul Ritchie Crawford, 77, of Matthews, died December 22, 2018. He was born on September 26, 1941 in Walterboro, SC to the late Clyde and Pauline Crawford. He served in the US Air Force and NC Air National Guard and was a past master of the Williams Masonic Lodge, last a member of Post 742, Mint Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Paul Jason Crawford and daughter-in-law, Heather Lee Crawford. Survivors include his wife Susan Cook Crawford; daughter, Paige Crawford Key and husband Glenn of Cary; Susan’s children, Christine Barbee and husband Todd of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Jennifer Ballard of Matthews; grandchildren, Molly Crawford, Claire Crawford, Jason Key, Emma Key, Colton Barbee and Lucas Barbee; siblings, Brenda Williams of Village Lakes, FL and Glenn Crawford of Havelock, NC.

The families will receive friends from 12-1:30 Wednesday, December 26 at James Funeral Home in Huntersville. A graveside service will follow at Ramah Presbyterian Church (14401 Ramah Church Rd. Huntersville) at 2:00 with Rev. Brian Copeland officiating. If able, please park across the street in the church parking lot.
