Paul Everett Franklin's Obituary
Paul Everett Franklin, of Huntersville, age 62, died on Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was the son of the late Paul E. Franklin, Sr. and Mabel Youngson Franklin.
He was born in Wareham, MA on March 4, 1956. He was employed as a Corrections Officer for more than 17 years and upon his retirement, he and his wife, Ruth Anne Heney Franklin moved to Huntersville to make their home.
Paul loved life! He always put his family first. His laugh was contagious and he could light up the room with his smile. Paul was a devoted husband, an amazing father, and he was a loving papa to his grandchildren.
He was a sports loving, fun person who knew how to enjoy his life. He loved baseball and the Red Sox. “It was fitting,” his family said, “that he would leave this earth on opening day for the best seat on the field for his beloved team.”
In addition to his wife Ruth of 42 years, Paul is survived by two daughters; Heidi Franklin and Heather Franklin and her husband Nicholas Lemons, two grandchildren; Tyler Lemons and Olivia Christian, all of Huntersville, a sister, Cyndee Furtado and her husband, Robert of Harwich, MA, Mother-in-law, Ethel Heney of Huntersville; brothers-in-law, David Heney and his wife, Kim, Matthew Heney and his wife, Kim all of MA, Mark Heney, Paul Heney and his wife, Laurie all of Huntersville, and a sister-in-law, Debra Bradshaw and her husband, John of MA and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in Plymouth, MA at a date to be announced.
