I will always remember the wonderful times we had at your house when we were young . Going to your house was so much fun and I will never forget how kind the entire Nealon family was.

Deepest sympathy to Sally, family and friends with the passing of your beloved Paul. I will never forget the day I met Paul and Sally almost 20 years ago on my first day on the job as Village Manager in Whispering Pines, NC. The Mayor took me on a tour of the Village in his golf cart and I vividly remember pulling into a residential driveway for the first time and seeing Paul’s smiling face and hearing his hearty laugh for the first time as he was doing chores out of his beloved truck. He had a way of making a yankee from Ohio feel at home and forget about the 100 degree heat for my first week living in NC full-time. All of the residents of Whispering Pines owe Paul snd Sally a debt of gratitude for there tireless efforts in improving the quality of life in the Village by coordinating a handful of well run Village social events every year. Their service extended outside the Village with regular volunteering at Moore County hospital as well. They made volunteering fun and lead by example in setting a standard that anyone in public service should emulate. I remember kidding Paul that he and Sally needed to get jobs so they could get some time off! They must have rubbed off on me since have said the same thing to myself since retiring five years ago and have been doing volunteer work for mobile meals, my church and the local American Legion post. Paul and my favorite uncle were the only two people I can remember that served in the in the Navy so I know they have become fast friends in heaven! Rest in peace Paul and enjoy the best port of call of all.
