Pauline Donaldson's Obituary
Laura Pauline Donaldson, 96, of Cornelius, died December 8, 2011 at her home. She was born on July 30, 1915 in Mecklenburg County to the late Willie Alexander Donaldson, Sr. and Cora Wilhelm Donaldson. She retired from McKesson after 40 years of service.
She is survived by her brother Billy Cook of Cornelius and Ruby, SC; nieces, Beth Blackwell, Peggy Clear, Betty Foy, Gina Cook; nephew, Billy Cook, III; sister-in-law Kathleen Donaldson, as well as many great, great-great-and great-great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Eugene, Willie, Worth and sisters Annie Mae, Vernie and Pearl.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lake Norman, 705 Griffith St., Suite 203, Davidson, NC 28036.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Monday, December 12, 2011 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
