Pauline Zimmerman's Obituary
Pauline (Kopey) Searles Zimmerman of Huntersville passed away peacefully July 13, 2026, at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC.
Pauline is preceded in death by her father Nicholas Kopey, Mother Mary (Waranka) Kopey, sister Mary Kopey, brother Michael Kopey all resided in Frackville, PA, and sister Olga (Kopey) Christopher resided in Selmer, TN. She had one remaining sister Anna (Kopey) Ackerly residing in Selmer, TN.
In addition, to her immediate family, Pauline is preceded in death by her first husband Joseph H. Searles, and second husband Richard C. Zimmerman both resided in Frackville, PA
Pauline has 2 loving children; Lynne Searles Napoli, and her husband Thomas C. Napoli of Huntersville, NC, and her son Richard Joseph Searles, and his wife Diane (Wascavage) Searles of Shepton, PA.
Pauline has 2 loving grandchildren; Nicholas Searles, and his wife Dr. Emma Riegert of Gap, PA, and Collin Searles of Charlotte, NC.
Pauline, in addition, has a great grandchild; Nicholas Searles, Gap, PA.
Pauline has two stepchildren from her second marriage to Richard Zimmerman along with three Grandchildren and Great Grandson.
She is also survived by a Bother in law and 3 Sister-in-laws, loving nephews, and nieces located in PA, Maryland, West Virginia, and Tennessee.
She attended Harrisburg Business School after High School and landed her first job as a telephone operator, for Bell Telephone. She moved to France retiring early from Dr. Frank Zurutski’s Dental practice in Frackville, PA.
Pauline’s last years were spent at Williams Place, Independent living, where she made numerous lifetime friends. In her final battle with Cancer, she was taken care of by several wonderful Caregivers along with Via Hospice Care of Charlotte.
Funeral Service will commence at 9:30 a.m. on July 18, at the Russian Orthodox Church, Frackville, PA followed by a grave site service at the Russian Orthodox Cemetery.
