Peggy L. Blythe 's Obituary
Peggy L. Blythe, 88, of Charlotte, went peacefully to be with her beloved husband, Robert F. Blythe on January 6, 2019.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, James H. Lindsay and Margaret Lindsay, as well as her brother, James A. Lindsay. Survivors include her children, Bonnie Sholar, Steve Blythe, David Blythe, Ginger Frazier, and Brigette Edwards; her sisters, Joyce McArn and Ginger Black; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and cherished foster family and friends.
She married her husband, Bob, September 28, 1947. Peggy raised five children and her home served as a refuge to countless foster children. She worked alongside her husband serving the United Christian Prison Ministries. Other charitable work included preparing and serving meals to the homeless community. She retired at age 80 from Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat. She was a respected and dedicated coworker and employee.
Peggy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a little lady with big heart that enjoyed going to the mountains, painting, and tending to her plants. She was everyone’s mother and had a true passion for helping those in need.
