Peggy Frazier Mozeley's Obituary
Peggy Frazier Mozeley, 78, of Cornelius, NC died April 16, 2014 at CMC. She was born on August 8, 1935 in Mecklenburg County to the late George and Mattie Frazier. Peggy was an active member of Davidson U.M.C. and participated in the Founders and Joy Circles. She also enjoyed the “Primetimers”. She was honored with an award by the United Methodist Women for outstanding service. Her hobbies include knitting, making homemade breads and jams. She also thoroughly enjoyed her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray C. Mozeley and siblings, George Frazier, Jr., Jimmy Frazier and Dale Quinn.
Survivors include her daughters, Suzan Bowers and husband Neal Hamilton of Ft. Mill, SC, Lisa Wallace and husband Ricky of Lexington, NC, Darla Hudson and husband Kurt of Mooresville; siblings, Betty Wicker and husband Jim of Charlotte, Delores Rathbone and husband Bob of Florida, Pam Meadows and husband Ronnie of Belmont, Dean Frazier and wife Patti of Ft. Mill, Cheryl Whitlow and husband Vernon of Belmont; grandson, Jason Bowers and wife Rebecca and step-grandchildren, Dillon Wallace, Jacque Grimes and husband Chris, and Parker Hudson.
Memorials may be made to Davidson United Methodist Church, PO BOX 718, Davidson, NC 28036.
Visitation will be 12:30-2:00 Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Davidson U.M.C. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 in the sanctuary with Rev. Jody Seymour officiating. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery.
