Peggy Woodle's Obituary
Peggy Watts Woodle, 79, of Huntersville, died January 21, 2013 at Olde Knox Commons. She was born on February 16, 1933 in Gaston County to the late Alva and Hazel Rowe Watts. She worked nearly 50 years at the Champion Manufacturing Co. in Charlotte.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Junior Woodle and her brother Steve Watts.
Survivors include her daughter Teresa W. Little and husband Joel E. Little of Stanley; brother, Mike Watts and wife Helena of Cornelius; nieces Tonya Watts Winkler and husband Mark and their son Alex of Cornelius and Heidi Watts Stewart and husband Cam and their children Nash, Kase and Palmer of Cornelius; and nephew, Josh Watts of Cornelius.
Memorials may be made to Hills Chapel United Methodist Church, 988 S. Old Hwy. 16, Stanley, NC 28164.
The family would like to thank the staff of Olde Knox Commons for their loving care.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Hills Chapel U.M.C. with Rev. Valerie Rosenquist and Rev. Scott Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West.
