Your dad could always make me laugh, smile and I was honored to spend every opportunity with him. He took us out to amazing dinners and shows, and many incredible sporting events. I feel blessed to have known Mr. Sears, aka Phil as he preferred, and I'm at peace knowing he is still watching over us and proud of all that you do and have done for your family, Ashley. I hope you find peace and love in all your future endeavors. À bientôt!

Philip fought long and hard in the impossible fight against Alzheimer's. Nearly 13yrs he battled the disease surprising many medical professionals. He was the youngest resident at his skilled nursing facility, and he was there the longest out of any resident. He will always be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and the many lives he touched throughout his lifetime. He took pride in his generosity, professionalism, compassion and zest for life. He had a strong faith in family and community and enjoyed volunteering for those in need.
Special moments with my dad, celebrating birthdays, graduations and ultimately caring for him. If I could do it all again, I would. My dad was my world and I will honor him and fight for him in finding a cure to end Alzheimer's. May he be in peace and happiness. All my love, Dad!
Family fun memories celebrating birthdays, weddings, dog walks, and even the 1996 Olympic's
Sears Family Vacations, most memorable: cross country road trip out West with Mimi, to sites like the Grand Canyon, Four Corners, Yellowstone, several state parks; Las Vegas, most memorable moment was flying a prop plane through the Grand Canyon and surviving; New York City, behaving as typical tourists; beautiful Maui and all it's glory; U.S. Virgin Islands, most favorite island was St. john and it's preserved National Park and magnificent snorkeling beaches; and best family trip goes to Costa Rica, pura vida!
Philip and Michelle happily married on August 16, 1970 until Philip passed October 31, 2020
Philip's urn was specifically chosen to represent his love for the water and being in the mountains. They were truly his happy place.
I didn’t know that Phillip was cared for by the same wonderful funeral home as Don, until yesterday. We didn’t know Phillip very well, but extend condolences and prayers. You are wonderful neighbors and are very much appreciated! Love, Debbie Noe
