Phillip Head's Obituary
Mr. Phillip H. Head, 66, of Cornelius, passed away Thursday, November 5th, 2020.
Phillip was a native of Forest City, NC and later moved to Cornelius with his family. Friends and family had a running joke, if something needed to been done “Phillip will do it” and he had the shirt to prove it. He enjoyed gardening, coaching softball, collecting nutcrackers and most of all spending time with his family.
Phillip was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Head, brother, Beatty Head and sister, Peggy Head.
Mr. Head is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen Head, their daughter, Kristin Hooven (Dustin) of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren Sarkis and Avaleigh Hooven; sister, Saralynn Daves, brother, Leon Head and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 7:30 Monday, November 9 at James Funeral Home.
